Ahh yes, definitely read that another way. Smith has been on there for some time. Was he one of the 4 that were either temporarily suspended or kicked off earlier this year too?

He's questionable on both from what I read.

Yes, but is was only 3. It was Derrick Smith, Seth Adams and Brenton Burkhalter (who was dismissed from the team).

As per Josh Parrott through Jay Walker on BEV, Brad McGuire is taking the snaps at QB in practice, but Desormeaux doesn't have a black jersey on.

    This is pretty good news!

Look for Brad McGuire to make his first start of his career. Mike D is still not taking snaps and although he is a tough SOB, I would rather him have two whole weeks to get better for the rest of the year and take our chances with Brad than lose Mike for the rest of the season.

Every game we have left on the schedule is winnable, but we will have to outscore people. The injuries on the D are more worrisome than Mike D's knee. We are down to 2 LB's that were scheduled to play this year. Our other Linebackers were scheduled to redshirt or were DB's.

Great exposure! We have to keep it going!

Nice comment by an LSU fan also under the article.

No, it's only UL fans that lack respect and civility. Tiger fans would NEVER act rudely, well, except for those FEW renegades like every school has.

    One sweet Maraschino
In one of the more incredible statistical lines you'll see over one half of football during the 2008 season, Louisiana-Lafayette senior wide receiver Jason Chery racked up 335 all-purpose yards and scored five touchdowns. He only touched the ball seven times.

Do the math in your head. It's tough, I know. I'll wait. Chery had the ball in his hands just seven times in the first half on Saturday in the 59-30 rout of North Texas and ended up in the end zone on five of those plays. He scored on a 97-yard kickoff return, an 81-yard run from scrimmage and caught passes of 17, 49 and 57 yards all for touchdowns. Chery finished with three catches for 123 yards and three carries for 85 more.

His huge game earned him Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week honors, and it was the second straight week the honor was bestowed upon him.

Currently fourth in the nation in all-purpose yardage with 188.8 per game, Chery totaled 318 the previous Saturday against Louisiana-Monroe. In that game, he rushed for 92 yards on two carries -- including an 87-yard TD run -- and caught six passes for 96 yards -- including a 74-yard TD catch.

Unfortunately for Fantasy owners interested in acquiring Chery off the walk-on list -- he's only owned in 16 percent of Fantasy leagues -- his special teams yardage and touchdowns will not help your team. You need to concentrate on the yardage he amasses running and catching the football on offense and that hurts Chery’s Fantasy value.

That said, he still racked up 44 Fantasy points last week and finished as the No. 3 Fantasy point producer in the entire country. He was the only wide receiver in the top 25. He wasn't too shabby with 30 Fantasy points the week prior, either.

    I think the comment's great.

Think about it: the whole country reads the article. They think, "Nice, a mid-major doing well."

Then they see the Tiga comment at the bottom and think, "Wait a minute.. these guys are the defending national champs, and they show off their aŝŝes like that in front of the whole world? Whoa.

"I guess their fans are just a bunch of losers."
