That may be true, but I think most of your fan base will be surprised a little more than the Cajuns Fan base. If we go in there and lose, well we were supposed to get slaughtered according to your fans. But when we go in there and win or scare the crap out of USM then it will be a fluke.

The good thing is we will get to play the game and not have to postpone it.

The Vegas line is +10 Cajuns. We will win straight up.

How much of your own money have you put on that? Hopefully you'll be man enough to give USM the respect we deserve after we sent you home with a 14+ point loss....again.

Good to know. Like I said, I was typing fast, and Fouquier made a lot of mistakes. Looking back, he may have been talking about OSU vs. Louisiana Tech film? I dunno.

Wyatt was with the Cardinals, and the University.

I made corrections, thanks for the heads-up.

I'm not gutsy enough to put money on it, or to make predictions.

I do know that everyone associated with the program, from the coaches to the trainers to the administration, has repeatedly talked about how this is the closest-knit and hardest-working group they've ever seen, and how much bigger, faster and stronger they are-- by a lot-- than last year, because of the intense Summer they put in. We didn't have bad talent last year, we had bad chemistry.

Anyway, Desormeaux and Jones worked the dickens out of these guys. We've had good teams when we had student leadership; in fact, our only recent wins against the Golden Eagles-- '87, '89 and '93-- were when we had strong leadership from Brian Mitchell and Jake Delhomme.

USM always has great teams. Anything competitive will be a step up for our kids.

PS We're hoping that your players are also expecting this to be an easy win, and looking past us to Auburn.

I wish I was in the burg. I planned on being there around 10, but we are escorting buses of prisoners up to other prisons. We won't be finished until around 2 a.m. then I get to head out there.

I-59 is in Mississippi except about 10-12 miles off of 1-12. Correct me if I'm wrong, If Mississippi doesn't start contraflow can we travel south on I-59 til LA border??

Actually Hwy 610 or 6 something meets I-59 just north of LA border and runs into I-10 in MS, from there you can travel west all the way home.....

Sorry explanation got confusing. But it makes sense on a map.

Thank you sir, may I please have another??? Again, typical crap from USM fans on OUR boards about how we need to respect your team after you spank us.

Don't get your hopes up on that one. The Cajuns have our full attention. This is Fedora's first game, and it will be in front of a near sellout crowd. I'm quite sure that he doesn't want to go out and lay an egg tomorrow, and start his head coaching career off on a bad note. I'm looking for him to come out and make a statement. He was hired not only to win championships, but to also fill up the stands and increase revenue. He knows that the way to do that is to put a potent offense on the field and light up the scoreboard. That's the main reason that I think things are going to get out of hand tomorrow night. He's going to have the full attention of Eagle nation, and he wants to impress them. You guys are in an unfortunate situation. I know that we're going to score a lot of points. If your offense can't keep up, it's going to be ugly.

Considering the one-sided'ness of our extensive history of playing each other, I think you should respect us now. But you're welcome to act like an arrogant jerk if you want. After all, your team is coming off of that impressive 3 win season!

Arrogance is coming to someone else's board and proclaiming resounding victory with a team that has quite a few questionmarks over another team with history telling you nothing of what future outcomes will be, moron. You claim you will kill us because of what happened ten years ago, or for that fact 5 years ago when none of these players were even here. Get a grip. You want to show a lack of class, go ahead, just don't come here and start crap.

We respect USM a lot. However, that attitude that is portrayed by some of their fans is quite humerous. I hear this same stuff from LSU fans, not people who's team hasn't exactly burned up their mid-level conference for some time and has the nerve to look down on other programs.

Mr. 2 million a year and his potent offense went against a Rice team with some experience at key positions tonight and it got ugly, and the scoreboard lit up.

I'm interested to see if Fedora's offense will have some kinks to workout in their first action against a defense they haven't seen. We will also have a new offense to work into but I'm sure at first sign of trouble we'll see Dez and Fenroy do their thing.

I am a big fan of a runn game as apposed to pass, this will be great. Not to mention alot of other good RB matchups we see this season.
