OK I got it--comfort Inn University---close to USM---Dey say!!!!! Now who has the MBLs?????? Maybe the real crowd will be the Northern flow from Gustave!!!!!! Geaux away please!!!!
There are no hotels close to the stadium. Most of the motels are west of where I59 and US98 intersect.
I might suggest staying at motels on Hwy 49 north. The Comfort Inn is a good location. You might search Choicehotels.com for availability. There is a Quality Inn north of there on 49 north also.
Hillcrest dorm is on the frontage road just north of 4th street. That is the street north of campus.
I hope all you Cajuns have a safe and great visit to Hattiesburg.
I think you're going to be disappointed. In you last 5 attempts against us, you've lost by an average score of 8-48. I just can't see anything that would lead to a different result this year. Bower's conservative offenses put up 50 points on you guys. It's hard to imagine what this new and improved offense will do. USM just has too much talent compared to ULL.
I remember seeing it in another post but couldn't find it...can anyone please give me some info on the parking situation at USM?
Bower's offense was also good enough to get them in bowl games almost every year and a few conference titles. But most importantly, our team now is light years ahead of the teams we had back then based off our key players. Your head coach is making his debut, along with your starting quarterback. Not to mention, your "young" defense is going to be put to the test against a team who was fourth in the nation in rushing last season. Houston fans were saying the same exact thing in 2006 of how they've beaten us in the past, or how Kevin Kolb and Co. were going to throw all over our secondary. Not only did we come from a 21 pt deficit to win at their place, our offense ran it down their throats to where their d-lineman were on one knee trying not to pass out before we scored the winning TD. AND DIDN'T THAT SAME HOUSTON TEAM BEAT SOMEONE FOR THE CUSA TITLE??? All I am saying is that it's the first game of the season and anything can happen.
