If losing to USM "shocks" you, then you aren't living in reality. There's a reason that we've won 77% of our games against each other. You just don't have the same caliber of athletes that USM does. That's not a slam, it's just reality...and the same reason that Auburn will likely spank us next week. Anything can happen in football. We can always fall apart and lose to a ULL, just like Michigan fell apart and lost to Appy St. But to say that your fans will be "shocked" to lose to us is just laughable.

You forgot to mention that one side also has a 5-star, 6'6" receiver that runs a 4.5 forty. Your tallest DB is 6'1". Talk about a mis-match. Said WR is also running with the 2nd and 3rd strings because we're so talented and deep at WR. Oh yeah, we also have an All-American TE that no defense has ever had an answer for, along with one of the best running backs in the nation. Our QB's have been very successful going against a better defense all fall than they'll see on Saturday. And it's not like they're true Freshmen. They've been on the team for 2-3 years, have gone through a couple of spring and fall practices, and one has even started a game. If you're expecting our QB to come out and be intimidated, then you're just fooling yourself. The sheer talent around him will make his job simple.
Clutch,
Here is what was said:
"Most all parking lots on campus are reserved for members of the Eagle Club. Students and others must remove their autos from campus I believe by 11:00 a.m. on game day. Most all streets on campus are blocked off to anyone without an issued parking pass.
There is usually open parking in a lot next to the first high rise dormitory on Hardy St. Exit I-59 at Hardy St (coming from the South), veer to the right and the dorm will be down about one half mi on right. Another spot is an open lot on far West side of campus. Exit I-59 on Hardy, go to you see Western Motel on left, turn left and up the street on the right is the big open lot. There is another open lot on West side of Hwy 49 just North of the 4th St overpass on Hwy 49. To get there exit on Hardy off I-59, follow it until it intersects with US hwy 49, take left and you will see the stadidum on the left and the 4th st overpass up ahead. Go past the overpass & the Hillcrest Drom will be on left and the parking area is just North of it. Best warning I can give you is early bird gets the worm."
Thanks to you both!
goeagles, u are a douche....
i picture u as one of those guys that laughs at his own jokes, while everyone around him is rolling their eyes......
now get off of mom and dads computer and get back to your coloring book......
Never said we were anything like a BCS team. As a matter of fact, I specifically said that Auburn will probably kick our butts because their talent level is above ours. The same rings true about the talent level between your program and ours. Take a look at the recruiting rankings. You finished at #109 with nothing better than a 2-star player. We finished at #37, ahead of multiple BCS schools, with multiple 3 and 4-star players, and a 5-star player that LSU sent the house to sway their way.
Again, it's not an insult. Just an observation of reality. That doesn't mean that we're assured a victory, but it does explain our confidence.
