 Ron Hudson figures the new offensive philosophy for UL's football program is a mix of old and new ideas.

Hudson, promoted to offensive coordinator earlier this year, has no reason to abandon the running game after the Ragin' Cajuns ranked seventh nationally in rushing yards per game (251.6) last season.

But he expects the addition of Jorge Munoz as the new passing game coordinator and quarterbacks coach to help improve an aerial attack that averaged 155.5 yards per game - which was 115th out of 119 NCAA Division I Football Bowl Subdivision teams last year.

_ Sorry man, I look at the personnel on this football team and I do not see much if any improvement. In fact, I think the defense is going to be worse than last year. We are way too small. The best thing about this being Bustle's last year is the fact that Wingerter, the worlds worst recruiting coordinator, will be shown the door with him. _

As for size, the defense will be bigger and deeper this year; not to mention, Fourquier wants SPEED over size!

_ Articles like this puzzle me. Who is talking about moving down besides disgruntled alums and fans from other schools? Since 1982 NO ONE was moved down. MANY have moved up. That right there tells you which league you need to be in. _

One of the recommendations of the study about the state of the university was to consider moving to 1AA. Another useless government study.

While I don't envy Troy's position but he has missed on a lot of prospects. I find that he can be arrogant.
