Microsoft today posted a new video showing the technology behind Touch Cover 2. Microsoft Distinguished scientist Stevie Bathiche from the Surface team shows off the enhancements to Touch Cover 2. The Touch Cover just got better this time. You now have illuminated keys and the Touch Cover 2 is thinner and lighter. Also the pressure-sensitive nature has been hugely improved as well. Lightweight, razor-thin keyboard and cover Innovative, 2.5 mm thin, pressure-sensitive keyboard responds to the touch of your fingertips. Twice as fast as onscreen typing. Smart enough to know when you are deliberately pressing a key, or just resting your hands. Doubles as a protective cover. Backlighting The keyboard is illuminated in low light, making it easy for you to use after the family (or the stranger sitting next to you in seat 37A) goes to sleep.
