Thread: What happened to our vote

The coaches poll came out and we were not receiving any votes. You would have to think it was WKU or stAte that gave us the vote before the game. but you would also think if they felt that way the voting would definitely continue after we thoroughly dominated both teams.

Exact reason why the coaches poll shouldn't be considered a legitimate poll. Either they are motivated to improve their standing (i.e. Boise State a few years ago, and what I think was stAte's coach voting for us before last week) or they do not watch the games period. There is nothing that changed from one week to another except for us showing that we are the class of the sunbelt in dominating fashion.

The voter last week may have felt a team outside their top 25 may have moved into their top 25 because that team had a bigger win than the Cajuns over ASU. Or another reason... Polls are too subjective.

A better question is why are not the teams in the Sun Belt voting on UL? We should at least be getting four votes!!!!

That's a salient point. Most HCs are clueless about other programs except for who they play and what they've been told.
