New Turf on Cajun Field

I got a wallet sized schedule for next football season which had the schedule on one side and the new look field on the other. If this is indeed what the turf will look like it will have LOUISIANA in Red outlined in White with a Black background in the endzones, Red Fleur de Lis on the 25's on each side and the Sun Belt Logo on the opposite 25's. It should look really good! Especially with the LOUISIANA in big caps (there was no sign of Lafayette below) and NO PEPPER!!!!!! I hope that this is what it looks like.

The Mid Field is the Ragin over Cajun Logo in Red and White. I don't remember the schedule off hand I know we go to Southern Miss for our first game and Kent St. at home then go to Illinois.

why would they print out a schedule when it hasnt been made official? the ncaa has to approve it on march 1st so why would they already be printing these out when something could change any day? jw

I know they are planning on announcing the schedule on Feb. 6th at the signing day party. I'm pretty sure the schedule I got will be the one passed out at that party.

What was at mid-field?

Hopefully nothing. I don't like that LOUISIANA'S RAGIN' CAJUNS logo that has been out there the last couple of years. Once a logo is painted on the field it might not look the same if an attempt is made to replace it. In the end zone I'd go with the natural turf looking background because red or black may fade and not look great for the life of the field. Plus, the less decoration you have, the more green and lush your field looks and I'm looking forward to seeing something that looks the same every game.

Why is that someone always has to be the one to spoil the fun. This was suppose to be announced but NO, you wanted to blab it out. Can't we all be a little patient and wait for some suprises for the signing bash. Now, it is not

For some reason I don't think the new turf and schedule is the big surprise, i have heard through a couple of people and read on this board about the turf so it isn't much of a secret from what i've gathered. I could be totally wrong, I was just passing on some info that i got which is one of the best parts of a message board in my opinion.
