no offense taken at all, though i can see why one might care...

thinking it's good to know history of what type bought and from whom as for a barometer in performance in installation, maintenance other such issues and the like ..

just guessing here but is there a reason that pro-green has in a sense disappeared? into geosport?

ps. who is la monroe gonna call in a couple of years?

Bill, don't you represent one of these companies? In your opinion, what are the positives and negatives on each turf. I've been on the rubber pellet filled turf in the middle of August, temperature on the playing surface was 115'F. I don't know enough about each playing surface to support one over the other.

Are you guys possibly getting a Pro-Play turf like ULM? With the coated sand infill?

    Default hey cajun t

we all know this upfront : any and all companies selling anything, has a sales pitch that highlites their product.. over another.. i would be no different if i did "represent" a company (guessing many could guess which, if i did)

i know that i am smart because i know i am dumb.. with that being said, a few things i know.. me spouting about a certain turf in here and to compare turfs, does no one any good..

i have asked questions from posters with the intent of seeing if they knew what i would answer as per a certain company..

i have hinted to the type turf i believe will be put down (football field) in a number of posts in this thread already.. (my question to pman on 1st page.. smiles)

ps. less "infill material used" = more slippage

    pss. questions? (smiles)

psss. picking and choosing certain things out of many posts in here have made some valid points ..(big buds on page 3 would be one)

I think rubber is recommended for inside and sand for outside, just what I heard from higher ups

Don't know. But it would make sense that the sand and rubber mixed version of infill would be cooler.

I got interested in artificial turf since McNeese is putting some down. I didn't know that there were that many companies with all kinds of turf until I started exploring it on the Internet.

What is the best? Who the hell knows for sure? Visiting the various websites, all of the companies claim theirs is the best.

want me to give you my guess to your question?

Yes Billy please give us your guess, Or have Scott Farmer come on your show and just tell us about the progress. We have received many good replys to my original question however no real answers. I have decided to go straight to an inside source to get my question answered. I e-mailed Lynn Williams and hopefully he will get back to me. If I do get a response I will post an update and end all of the speculation
