Well its been about two weeks since I first posted this thread and the last post are about beer. "lol" Everyone hears that it will get started Next Week and still no dirt has been moved. About the only thing that I have learned is that it will take about 90 days to do the job which means that if they start "Next week" it will be finished in mid july with no rain delays. I think i have given up on trying to find out who is the manufacture of the turf and when it will be put down. Hopefully when they do finally start "Next Week" we will get to know the details.

I have learned over the many years that "big announcements" at UL (and in general from institutions pretty much everywhere) are to be taken with a grain of salt. Cut the hype in half (at least!). Then triple the time frame, and you MIGHT stand a chance of not being disappointed. And with the athletic department, you might also consider pulling out a quarter and doing a coin flip to determine if it will happen or if it's just hype. I am just tired of all these "coming soon" pronouncements with nary a master plan in sight!

On Friday April 4th I went and checked out the field and STILL no progress and the stadium looks like crap.
