Yes Billy please give us your guess, Or have Scott Farmer come on your show and just tell us about the progress. We have received many good replys to my original question however no real answers. I have decided to go straight to an inside source to get my question answered. I e-mailed Lynn Williams and hopefully he will get back to me. If I do get a response I will post an update and end all of the speculation

If you are talking about what turf is the best, I certainly don't know. I'm sure you can get a lot of competing opinions, though.

If you are talking about which turf Cajun Field is getting, I definitely don't know but I'm curious.

been told i talk in circles.. and yes also that i post the same way.. i'd be real surprised that the turf i have mentioned lately is not the turf that has been decided on for some time.. my 1st post in thread hinted to which turf it wasn't going to be (the hint was (frowns) in parenthesis )

best? everyone has an opinion.. i would say look at FieldTurf site and what many "high profile" installations as well as high schools, etc etc etc.. chose -

i do believe that field turf uses 6.7 lbs of sand and 3 lbs rubber in their blend and that field turf has 7lbs more "infill" per sq foot on average over their competitors

the fact that cajuns are getting turf for their football field is the good news.. which will be an improvement over what they play on now..
