By the end of this week, UL will know the name of its next president.
Thursday afternoon the system’s Board of Supervisors will interview the three finalists: Steve Landry, UL’s current academic vice president; Joseph Savoie, Louisiana’s commissioner of higher education; and Clifford Stanley, a retired Marine Major General and CEO and president of national nonprofit, Scholarship America.
During that time, particulars like salary expectations and more in-depth conversations about the finalists’ plans for their first 100 days in office will begin, according to UL System President Sally Clausen.
