i said 4-8 but i wouldnt be surprised by 5 or 6 wins but to me that isn't enough. Im sorry if after 6/7 years I expect more than a .500 season. This school deserves better and if Bustle can't achieve that then it is time to cut ties and move on to the next guy.

Expect to see the regular conference schedule (four on the road and three at home).

Plus, @ Illinois, @ Kansas St, @ USM, home v. Kent St, and home against ???

    That makes 12.

    Illinois and KSU are loses.

    Maybe catch USM in transition...

Kent State better be a W.

    ??? should end up a W.

Ok, so best case scenario (i.e. our ??? game is against a bad opponent), we are 2-3 at the end of the OOC schedule. then we have Troy on the road, UNT on the road, and FAU on the road, oh and ULM on the road. we should get FIU, ASU, and MT at home. If we are lucky enough to win two of those games on the road, that makes us 4-5. Two of three at home makes us 6-6. That means no conference championship, no bowl game, no support from the outside. I think that even if we pull off one of those road games, and go 7-5, it still doesn't seem that great, after 7 years of this coach.

According to Wright Waters at the Summer Kickoff meetings now seven win team in 2006 did not get to go bowling. IOW the goal of seven wins has pretty good odds of a bowl bid.

I like our odds on the road against all three of the teams mentioned. Troy obviously will be a stretch, ULM graduates a lot of senior impact players this season. UNT is an unknown.

I would consider 7 great for the kids involved.

Yes, the kids would love that.

The football players would love that too.
