Oh look, Ohio scored again!
For people who did not hear Kevin's show yesterday, his article in the paper this morning is basically a repeat of his verbal comments.
Vote with your money. DA takes a crack at something you love - don't support the paper.
Finally!!! A good article to come from the daily trashatiser!!! Thanks Kevin!!
I personally do not give a crap about ULM or La Tech....as long as they stay out of our business....every University in this State....Including LSU.....has problems right now.....as long as we are officially using University of Louisiana at Lafayette as the name of our University you have no beef....move on
I'm taking this at face value and based on the dates cited, but if this comment really is from Raymond Lalond it's no wonder this state us so ____ed up with politicians like him.
"Raymond LaLa Lalonde
I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington, a fine engineering and liberal art university. We have always referred to it as UTA or UT Arlington. UT Austin was the original University of Texas and is usually referred to as UT or University of Texas, without having to specify the location of the campus. I would prefer to stick with UL Lafayette or perhaps shorten it to U LaLa. BTW, I started at SLI in 1958.
"...shorten it to U LaLa" ? What a ____ing moron.
Names from the Mahn-roe article...
State Sen. Mike Walsworth, R-West Monroe.
State Sen. Francis Thompson, D-Delhi,
State Rep. Frank Hoffmann, R-West Monroe,
In everything that is being said and written about the issue, notice who is conspicuous in their absence?
I guess you could look at it that way. I just know this name thing is not going to be handled and clearly defined today, tomorrow or even 6 months from now. Its going to be a long road of small battles and will take a lot of patience and Cajun Fans need to live in the NOW considering our history....LOL
