Acer today announced their successor to the Acer W3 8-inch tablet. Acer has improved over all the major complaints on W3. W4 now features vibrant, sharp 8-inch HD Display with IPS and Zero Air Gap technologies, powered by 4th Generation Intel Atom 1.8 GHz processor, Windows 8.1 pre-installed, comes with Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013 pre-installed, will offer upto 10 hours for web browsing and up to 8 hours for video play back. W4 is also now thinner and lighter than W3. It comes with an optional ultra-slim keyboard and cases for extra productivity. The Acer Iconia W4 starts shipping this month in the United States. Manufacturer’s suggested retail prices are $329.99 for the model with 32GB of storage, and $379.99 for the model with 64GB of storage.
