The grand hotel in point clear is very nice though it is past mobile along the bay.

That is a fantastic place. Wife's family used to vacation there when she was teen. We haven't stayed there but have stopped for lunch when out visiting or shopping in the area.

Point Clear is just the coolest place as we have been there for numerous STATE FARM Meetings---have a great Baby Grand piano that I can just relax with and the bar/Lounge had a dude playing whom I wouldn't even attempt to sit in for---Well maybe!!! One day this kid sat on the seawall and caught an ice chest of specks----and they have all the golf and tennis and bicycling stuff----very pretty and the little town up the road is super laid back and make sure your credit card is not to filled up as the spouse will make a few needed pre Christmas sales!!!

Boom, the game is on Dec 7th. Kickoff time is not yet announced.

Thanks ---what kind of driving time from Point Clear??? maybe if we blocked off some rooms we could get a discount as this might be their off season!!!

I was thinking about getting a room in Biloxi either at the Hard Rock or the Beau Rivage. The fact that its a straight 45 min drive to Mobile from these hotels makes me wanna hit the blackjack tables the night before.

We have 30 people going and staying in either the Holiday Inn or the Hampton Inn, both are downtown. We are getting in on Friday around 5.

Also the game will probably be in the afternoon, the SEC championship game is that night and they do not want to compete with TV.

Would love to make this game, but the weekend before finals is horrible timing. Maybe!
