Spoiler alert: Kirk Herbstreit has, and always will be a gigantic douchebag.
Only a matter of time before he's involved in some TMZ-type trouble that will humble that clown.

just playing devil's advocate here (because I wish herbstreit would go play in traffic), but could he speaking of a football addiction? One where football is no longer a weekend event?
Nah, he would not have said that if for some reason OSU was playing Michigan on a Tuesday.
He would have said, "It is a great event, and placing it on a Tuesday night means the whole country gets an honest chance to see these two storied programs go at each other. I think it is a great move to place some of these high profile games on a night when no other football is being played."
Guy went to Ohio State...nuff said. They are LSU level of egomaniacs and trash.
So its true, you are more into the pageantry than the sport.Originally Posted by Kirk Herbstreit

The crowd was not very loud at all. I am not sure if it was the design of the stadium or if it just wasn't loud. The crowd never got into the game and their PA system was blasting music until our play clock made it down to around 10 seconds. Even when they were in their 3rd down "lets make some noise" mode, we could still hold a conversation in the stands.
We really need to figure out how to get our band to games like this on national TV.
