Thread: "We all have issues..."

  1. UL Football Re: "We all have issues..."

Nah, he would not have said that if for some reason OSU was playing Michigan on a Tuesday.

He would have said, "It is a great event, and placing it on a Tuesday night means the whole country gets an honest chance to see these two storied programs go at each other. I think it is a great move to place some of these high profile games on a night when no other football is being played."

Guy went to Ohio State...nuff said. They are LSU level of egomaniacs and trash.

First off...this was ESPN's idea to play this game on Tuesday night. His bone to pick is with his employer...not us fans who are forced to deal with watching our teams play on a damn Tuesday night. Herbie...needs to be brought down a peg or two. Poor second fiddle to Corso.

I'm pretty sure it was a gambling addiction joke...but it was definetly a slight jab at the both schools as well.

Well, you have to admit that the first half was horrible football, played in a high school stadium with no fans. It was painful to watch. Now the second half was a different matter. You would think he would at least give credit to a dominating performance by UL.

He told a WKU fan that responded to his tweet that he sees better atmoshophere at Ohio high school football games...I live in Houston and that is definitely true here haha.

The crowd was not very loud at all. I am not sure if it was the design of the stadium or if it just wasn't loud. The crowd never got into the game and their PA system was blasting music until our play clock made it down to around 10 seconds. Even when they were in their 3rd down "lets make some noise" mode, we could still hold a conversation in the stands.
We really need to figure out how to get our band to games like this on national TV.

That would be me. For some reason I get on TV all the time. The photographer for the local paper came over and took about 25 pictures of me. I need to stop on my way out of town to pickup an newspaper and see if I made it.

I'm sure you've seen some of the newer Houston area high school stadiums. Some are almost as big and as nice as what WKU has (23,500 seats) or what Tulane is building (26,000 seats).
