I hope he goes.. its a homecoming of sorts. Then again he may realize that Michigan is no longer the job it used to be.

    Butch Davis?

I laugh at those that suggest Fisher/Polleni (sp?)...

why would a top program go after a coordinator?

The knock on Pelleni is that he has the personality of a board lol a lot of people say he is hard to get a long with. Fisher that would be a joke lol he would run that program in the dirt real quick (so please hrie him lol)

The LSU job would have a lot of guys mentioned if it does open up...last time though they didn't go with an obvious choice why would they do it this time.

they didn't go with the obvious choice because the obvious choice didn't want the job. As I remember it, Miles was their fourth or fifth coice...After butch Davis, after the guy who was at Louisville, after Jack Del Rio, etc.

If I am Louisiana State, I'd go after Rich Rodriguez at WV when Miles goes to Michigan.

Rodriquez turned Alabama down. He won't leave his alma mater.

I like Houston Nutt. The word is that he will be gone from Arkansas. Even if he isn't, I still would go after him.

There sure are gonna be a lot of jobs open this offseason. And Jerry Baldwin still won't get a phone call.

If i remember right...Butch didn't even interview because he didn't feel it was the right time for his return. Miles was the obvious choice because none of the other guys they went after really considered the job.
