SMU fired Bennett some time period ago. TAMU is getting rid of Franchione. I think that's about it so far.

Steve Kragthrope at Louisville is rumored to be a possible candidate down there...the louisville faithful want him gone, they think he is a good coach just not a good fit, that is after 1 year lol

Karl dorrell at ucla rumored to be gone as well, with mike leach rumored to be taking his place.

I've heard art briles' name mentioned as a potential replacement at tx tech and a&m, though I don't know if I buy that. I think tubberville will be the new guy in college station, and I think that they'll try to go for a bigger name in lubbock.

Also, pellini's name was mentioned earlier tonight as the replacement for callahan in lincoln.

The rumor is "The ole ball Coach" Steve Spurrier on his way to College Station.

Quick, ask Jay what he thinks. After all, he is the host of a sports radio show and it is his job to speculate and entertain the masses with his thoughts on things such as this.......Oh wait, I forgot, Jay doesn't speculate

Sorry, I just couldn't help myself.

I've spoken to 2 A & M members of their athletic committee and it's the old cliche' that we will get the best person for the job that is available.

However, one told me they will make a run at West Virginia's Rodriguez.

I've heard rumblings of spurrier to LSU after miles leaves. It blows my mind that miles leaving is an afterthought.. but i guess his heart will always be in michigan.

I was also surprised when Roy Wililams left KU for UNC...
