Ragin' Cajuns Local bank opts for LSU

Mrs Raoul was making a deposit at our branch bank when she was offered an LSU Tiger towel as a free gift. She said she was a Cajun graduate and supporter and asked if they had a Cajun towel. She was told "Sorry, we only have Tiger towels" Anybody else have this experience? They told her they had other complaints about it

I believe there are several area banks that are GREAT supporters of UL athletics...MidSouth, Home Bank and FM Bank to name a few. Tell them to switch.

Are there any auto dealerships that are particularly loyal to the Cajuns? There are several here in New Orleans marketing directly to A&M fans, which only serves to limit my choices. I'd like to support a dealer who supports us. Any tips?

I echo these sentiments ... pocketbooks talk ... we need to make it "advantageous" to be a Cajun sponsor/supporter.

seems to me as an attempt to knock down and intrude UL's ever growing fan base to keep us in our rightful place. Conspiring early this morning........

This person is just doing what they were told to do. It is not LSU's fault they alinged themselves with a great brand that not only supports LSU,but they have a huge college football marketing strategy all season long, Cap. One Bowl Week, Cap. One Mascot Challenge to name a few. Ourr staff needs to start entertaining the big boy sponsors and either Mid-South will step it up or we move on.

Capitol One is not a local bank.

    Gulf Coast Bank supports UL.
