There were good things and not-so-good things on display last Tuesday, and now the task for UL's basketball team is to keep the good things going and work on the not-so-good.
"That's why it's an exhibition," Cajuns coach Robert Lee said after his team's 95-81 victory over Louisiana College at the Cajundome. "I wasn't sure how it would go since we didn't have a scouting report or anything like that."
The Cajuns did a lot of good things offensively, with five players - including newcomers Chris Gradnigo and La'Ryan Gary - in double figures and a 65.5 shooting percentage. UL shot over 61 percent in each half and all nine players who played 10 or more minutes shot at least 50 percent.
