Well I think that could be a great question to ask him following the game as he hosts "THE RAGE"---Hey Dan what the hell are you using the Lafayette in your stories if you have been asked to call us UL or just Louisiana by the athletic department??? Does NOLA force you to do this??? If they do then why do you subject yourself to them???

At least he is getting out Louisiana Ragin' Cajun news in the NOLA market. I can live with this. Don't like it but I can live with it.

He most likely wrote it and an editor changed it

It is probably a condition of employment, or as a contributing writer. I surely have no problem with it if NOLA.com sports is forcing it on him. Everyone needs to chill, he certainly deserves to be able to earn an income from his talents.

Dan earned his stripes in battle, not some internet board.

The webmaster at SportsNola.com does use ULL and UL Lafayette in their sites architecture.

But, except and however, they pick up stories as written.

Examples: Stories from Brian McCann and Matt Sullivan have Louisiana as written.

I suspect the story is exactly how Dan wrote it.
