There is an exhibition basketball game Tuesday against LA. College. First regular season game is the following week on Wed. against North Alabama. First road game is on Friday Nov. 16 at LA TECH.

You are correct in that the first RPI game is against Tech. However, the exhibition and the North Alabama games are contests people may be interested in attending just for enjoyment and it is something to take our minds off of the gridiron disappointment.
