Despite the result of the game being a 11-0 victory in favor of the NPF Champions, USSSA Pride, it was a successful fundraiser for the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns softball program at Lamson Park.

The USSSA Pride played McNeese last night and won 7-2. A two run homer by McNeese ran Blaire Luna out of the circle. She was replaced by Rachael Fico who then pitched a shut out.
We have a lot of holes to fill.
This is this teams first game together and they played champions of the professional league. You can not judge them by this one game. There were a lot of positives that came out of this game and the team will be alright.
I wouldn't put too much emphasis on this game. Wallace gave up 4 runs and left the game in the 4th inning. We struggled to get hits on the off of professional pitchers. I think a lot of teams will be beaten easily by the Pride and that's to be expected and nothing to be concerned about.
The most important thing is the amount of money the softball team will get and the experience.
