Best basketball player to ever play at UL. Coincedentally, as I was reading this thread tonight, I was watching the NBA postgame recap on TNT and Charles Barkley just cited Andrew for his play back in the Sixers championship days.

It may have been the Boston fans that gave him that nickname. I had moved to Boston during that time period and all my Boston buddies hated the way he did what he wanted against the Celtics.

But they admired him.

Thanks to those who have stopped by. One of his teammates with the Sixers his first couple of years with the team told me that he had foot issues when he was a rookie. Its a shame because the guy was a HOFer if he was healthy. He reminded me of a cross between Ray Allen and Dwayne Wade.
