Thread: Tony Peloquin

  1. Default Tony Peloquin

Sad day today. Tony Peloquin, passed away this morning at 6:45am.

Tony was a major voice in Lafayette radio for the most of 1990's continuing till very recently. Tony was in his early 30's.

He had been fighting cancer for the better part of decade but never let it really stop him from broadcasting, till now.

He was a great guy and in a large way was responsible for talk radio -specifically sports talk- finally making it Lafayette Louisiana.

    Tony you will be missed.

Very sad. He will be sorely missed.

Never met him, but he always came accross as quality human being who really loved what he did. I don't think I ever heard him say a negative word or make a rude comment to any caller.

My prayers go out to his family.

Many might have known Tony better as Tony Landry on KPEL 105.1

Their slogan "Miss an hour, miss a lot" says it all, if you knew Tony you miss him.

I sued to listen to Tony's show then they replaced him with a noxious loud mouth out of Baton Rouge. My prayers are for his whole family and their ability to cope with his loss.
