Johnson had a big play in Saturday's game. He recovered the onside kick. I don't think people should make light of that. That is not always an easy play to make as many have failed at it. Also, there is lots of pressure at that point in the game as if you fluff it, the opponent has a great chance to defeat you. As far as other receivers to, I was thrilled to see Figaro play well as he has been biding his time since leaving Tulane. I bet he is comfortable with that decision.

Stover recovered the only onside kick I saw. Did I miss another onside kick in that game?

Akron attempted an onside kick with less than a minute left. Ricky Johnson recovered the ball and the Cajuns ran Hud's favorite play, Victory formation.

The Stokley situation was rare, he was the coaches son who just so happened to deserve the opportunity.

More often than not a walk on (former) has to do more than tear it up. He usually has to bide his time a bit longer.

I have no doubt his patience will pay off big time.
