They are not restricted by law. The U of L Lafayette rule is a law or rule for the universities only. Now they may not be able to find the stuff we like, but that is on us to figure out.

The rule says whenever we use U of L we need to include Lafayette at 50% the size. It says nothing about color. I still have a red UL baseball hat with Lafayette in red while the UL is in white.

I might consider buying stuff like this, but honestly I am fine with dropping the UL and going with Louisiana and Ragin'Cajuns vs having the Lafayette in any color or way.

I am also thinking they should sell the shirts with the UL @ Lafayette as a sew on or iron on kit. Then I could simply delete the damned Lafayette. I would buy tons of gear with that.

I went there for the first time last week. They have some nice shirts. Unfortunately they do have some with yellow and the city tag us present on some. But they do have some gear that is just Louisiana. Due to their effort I'll give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Hopefully over time they will see the yellow and city tag does not sell like the stuff with just Louisiana and their inventory wii adjust accordingly.

I'm ok with the Lafayette, depending on how it's presented. But the mustard crap needs to go away.

No mixed messages to the vendors please.

If 60% are willing to buy it and 40% will not under any circumstance it is a bad business decision. Get rid of the Lafayette.

By all means please patronize this store if you want to. I just don't see a need to walk into a store named after LSU mascot nicknames at any point in my life. So it is true...River Ranch is trying to be like Baton Rouge. Thanks...but no thanks.

While I don't live in River Ranch and have no desire to, RR setup is better than pretty much anything Baton Rouge has to offer community-wise. I don't think they desire to be BR. Who would with the murder rate, politicians and huge percentage of teen pregnancy and illiteracy?

New effort in unincorporated EBR to form cites to avoid the education system of EBR and the city in particular.

Yep, and I hope they're successful. Those types of communities should be able to have more control over education choices for their kids.

Then how do I own a Nike dry fit T that only has Louisiana across the chest? No mention of Lafayette what so ever.

Never been down Highland Road and/or Country Club of Louisiana have you ? Puts RR to shame.
