This pink full name confusion goes back to the end of last Century when and ethnic neutrality push was underway and UL asked the media to quit using "Cajuns" by itself and only use "Ragin' Cajuns"
As is the norm, confusion ensued and it was misinterpreted that "Lady Cajuns" was on the hit list. Thing is "Lady Cajuns" is not ethnic, Cajun Ladies is.
Since those days pink has become a breast cancer awareness color and in sports when there is name confusion, a differentiator.
History aside and back in focus. "Louisiana Lafayette" has never been a name on the docket, UL marketing should be ashamed for approving this.
I don't think they will be able to sell old bulldog stuff. Its a trademark of the school and UL doesn't want
companies making anything with USL or bulldogs on it anymore. Matter of a fact, i think if they are
licensed to sell UL products they can be fined and their license taking away
i had come up with some ideas for the bulldogs, but couldn't find any local companies that would take the
chance to produce them for me. pretty much gave up on the idea for now..might have to find an out of town
company
You've been looking for a pair? Oh, the shoes. Haha. I had a pair of black platform shoes back in the day. They had 3 inch heels. It's hilarious when the youngsters laugh at what we used to wear... as they Twerk with what Miley has turned into. I'll take my big fro hair, the Commodores, and my platform shoes back in a heartbeat.
I hear ya. I could still fit in my platform shoes if I had them, I have had the same shoes sizes since the 7th grade. I keep my hair short because of my Mod Squad fro that would come out if I let it grow.
Oh nice one on looking for a pair, I am but the pair I am looking for are on a female.
