I've also seen Gautier play as well and was very impressed. He was also playin against Chase Clement and other all-stars and was having no problems. He has a very nice arm, great mobility and he's got good size and is intelligent and understands he will have to be a bit patient. I like what we have at qb right now.

With every tick of the clock, the UL football team moves closer to National Signing Day on Feb. 6.
For now, the Ragin' Cajuns are ahead of the curve in the Sun Belt Conference. Entering the weekend they had 12 players in their current recruiting class, including verbal commitments from eight high school seniors. Among Sun Belt schools only North Texas (18) has more commitments, while UL-Monroe (12) has just as many, according to Rivals.com.
UL coach Rickey Bustle said the Cajuns will sign "23 to 24" players for next season. That means he and his coaches have plenty of work to do in the next three weeks.
"Our biggest need, no question, is to get a playmaker," said Bustle, who is prohibited from publicly commenting on specific recruits until they've signed a letter of intent. "We need a guy who can make plays, who can catch a ball in space, make people miss and make a bigger play."
