How does this guy compare with Gauthier? And, how do they compare with Masson and Maguire?

BG & Curry looks a little longer than Des, but Curry looks a little thicker than BG.

Gautier compares well to Desormeaux, stronger arm. Curry is similar to Maguire, 2'' taller at 6-4,200 lbs. We have Gautier, so if Curry decides to sign with another program ,we are good. Hint, some guy named June Jones may play a major part in Curry's decision.

Doesn't seem to be in the same skill categories with MD (or vice versa). I've never seen much of Maguire or Masson, but Curry looks like he has good instincts. He doesn't show much of his arm in this video. But, that pretty quick release in short yardage dinks is not to be overlooked. Far too many QBs are failing to find an athlete within 5 to 12 yards and letting that athlete get the extra ground. I like a QB who rolls out and has the ability to make a pitch and catch play. He looks mobile enough to stay in a gap long enough to find an open target, or tuck it and pick up a gain. Good height and athleticism.

June is going to get tired of bossy Texans and probably run back to Hawaii. I'd go with the Cajuns.

Gauthier has a live arm, I've seen him play twice. He ran the same type of offense that we run except, they threw a bit more. I am really excited about this recruiting class we seem to be getting some quality football guys. Appreciate the updates, keep em' coming.

Curry's arm is legit. He threw 30-yard outs with zip at the Cajuns summer camp. No other QB came close to his arm at that camp. He has a Jon Van Cleve arm, better mobility.Gautier didn't throw at camp, his shoulder was injured.

Cool. Thanks for giving us all this information on recruits. I really appreciate it CajunT. From the videos, I clearly see your comparisons to former/present players.

Do you really think Curry will commit to UL with all the QBs we have? I thought the reason Gauthier came was because he was told he can play the QB position, if they both commit how is that going to play out? I know you can't have too many, but couldn't we use a few other offers at another position?
