Brendan Wilson has committed to his lone scholarship offer from Louisiana-Lafayette, The Advocate reports.

He said, "I knew I was going to commit. I'd been thinking about it for a while. I also went to the North Texas game [38-29 win], and I liked the people there. It has a good amount of people and I have a friend from high school who goes there and said it was a good school."

Wilson continued, "They offered me earlier than other schools. They actually wanted me compared to other schools. I'd rather be somebody they want than somebody they need to fill a spot."

Let's hope we'll use him to do something other than block. We finally used our TE in the FAU game for a couple of nice plays in the middle of the field, but we didn't go to it often enough. Hopefully that will change during the rest of the season.
