We will win the game! Running game will be too much for them to handle for 4 quarters.

If we don't abandon the run!
ill put that akron loss on the o.c. who calls a toss inside the five and on the near side on third and goal against a much faster bigger d? almost as balzy as karl pelini calling for a spike on 4th down...yeah that happened
Did not even know that acron had a football team. will be a decisive win.

I don't know if I'd go that far. The better teams in the MAC have been very athletic and every bit as athletic as SBC teams IMO. Teams like Toledo, Miami (OH), Northern Ill etc.. have had a lot of speed and very good skill players which has allowed them to be competitive with the big boys. I think where a lot of them fail is on defense where they have good speed but just not a lot in the trenches and they tend to give up a lot of points. The SBC and MAC are very similar in that they are able to produce speed, good skill players with open offenses but usually struggle on the defensive end, especially on the line.
I think we will be successful running the ball. I don't think they will be able to shut it down but I do think they will put a lot of resources into slowing it down. This should open up the pass. We will have to pass and be more balanced to win this game IMO. Broadway will have to take the next step in the passing game and distribute the ball. He may not throw it 35 times but he will have to be efficient when he does and I expect some big plays. From who? I'm not sure. Jamal Robinson is down on confidence right now and needs a good game to get it back. Butler could be a guy or a good guess would be Surgent who has the speed to blow by defenders. I also wouldn't be surprised to see McGuire get a lot of looks in the passing game and possibly take a screen to the house. I think we run for close to 200 yards but I think we need to pass it well to win
Greetings from Akron, Ohio!
Zip fans are still a little down after coming so close to a huge win last week in Ann Arbor. But, I suspect Coach Bowden will have the team's spirits up once again for another great challenge in facing the Ragin' Cajuns.
If any of you are making the trip, I'd be more than welcome to try to answer any questions you might have. My wife and I are looking forward to the return trip in 2015. I figure tailgating outside "the Swamp" has to be some of the best tailgating in the country!
BTW, I'm calling this the UNA Lion Bowl since Hudspeth and Bowden were successive coaches there at one time.
The Zips are an unknown quantity, new coach, new direction. Lost bad to UCF who has blow out everyone but Penn State who they did beat. Zips got blown out by UCF, beat a FCS James Madison by two 33-35. Nobody on the JMU schedule except the Zips are a known quantity.
Cajuns prevail double digit win, 38-17.
Cajuns by 14.
