Geesus Jimminy Crickets. You would think the AdverTiger wants us to buy into the Acadiana Advocate. Why bother buying the local rag when they insult the fan base on a regular basis. If I want legal licensed apparel I will be buying my University of Louisiana at Lafayette stuff someplace, but they don't need to rub it in.

I was referring to the story. True too, some of these stores wonder why the Lafayette stuff goes so slow. With the new Branding I expect a lot of Cajun & Louisiana stuff next year. Not too much of the UL @ Lafayette in the future.

I thought I'd given them a chance yesterday so I dropped in. Thankfully, that trip reiterated the fact that the bookstore is pretty much the only good stop for Cajuns gear.

Academy Ambassador around 1 PM. Walk in, am impressed they have a UL tent set up inside the entrance. Disappointed to see it was all "ULL" or "Louisiana's" stuff. Further disgusted to see a stack of Alice shoe hats on the display. So being a true Cajun fan, I stuff that ______ behind a sign on the shelf out of sight. I later told a clerk they needed to take that alice shoe crap off the UL display. But my wife took it a step further. She stuffed those alice shoe hats down at the bottom of the box holding the chairs. Being the true lady she is, she said "* em".

Louisiana Tailgate Authority when it came to clothing...ULL stuff.

No apparel with straight up "Louisiana" to be found.

Out the door to the game in a bit, watching Johnny Football win the Heisman again.

Ah, I only saw one other person with a hat like mine...think back to the first UL hats and BR screamed Lafayette was not in the front.
