Band Upgrades?

Looks like our new band director may have put in some long needed songs on each of the downs.

I'm looking forward to it, some great stuff happening with the band. The first few seconds of this will be the 3rd down cheer when we're on defense. Appropriate and it's going to sound awesome. The rest of them are going to be good, too.

UL finally made a good move getting rid of that past band director and going in new direction! It was a long time coming!!! Just like the rest of UL, the band is going to be getting better and better!!! SO EXCITING TO BE A RAGIN CAJUN!!!!

I do, but I'll save some surprises for Saturday. We will still have the Fight Song tag for first downs. And for Astro's concern, I don't know if ESPN's been wholly eliminated, but concerns about it's overuse have been made known.

We had a get-together of Alumni Band members from the 1970's Wed night at Pete's. Two of our folks are doing video work for the PoA, and they told us we will see a MUCH more energetic band than in the past. Also, their numbers are up to 270, which is I think the largest in school history! VERY anxious to see our "new and improved' band!!
