    I doubt he was trying to build muscle mass before games.

    I suspect Karl's pregame regimen with weights was more closely related to blood flow aerobics than building muscle mass.

    As far as flexibility, I think that would be up to the individual, and would be a long term manifestation.

    I am concerned with short term muscle memory.

    I agree with Hud, things will get better . . . as soon as he can do his thing without having to think through his every move.

    IMHO it's all mental. Like getting the shanks in golf. Hopefully Nicholls State will be the cure for what ails him.

    No new muscle ever come on board. The individual muscle strands are always the same number. Exercise only gets the lazy unused puny strands to step up and do their jobs. In doing so they grow larger, but are not new.

    Turbine, I am pretty sure NFL qb's do weight work during the season.

    I agree. Cause once it starts it gets in your head. Turn off the brain (thinking about it) and just do it!
