And a few weeks ago everyone was making Hud king and wanting to give him another raise to keep him at UL.
So, where are we? Inexperienced DBs that are scared of getting beat long, so they get beat short to mid. For the most part stopping the run. Broadway has read to many press clippings, needs to just start playing and forgetting about possible going pro at end of year. Need to stop worrying about throwing interceptions, so he throws high. Use are WRs height to advantage put it so they can reach up and grab the pass. We did it once, mix up pour play calling better, use more formations to keep K-State guessing. WE CAN GET BACK IN THIS and maybe even win.
As much as I'd like to agree, a large portion of our faults are from receivers just flat out failing to either get open OR catch the damn thing, and our O-line getting annihilated yet again. I don't see the same Defensive line from last week, I think our O-line needs major work. Seeing a lot of problems, both sides of the ball.
...and someone text one of the coaches to tell Patt that if they need 7 yards, we can't play 10 yards back...then back step when the ball is snapped.
This team is just not as prepared to start the season as what we are used to from Hud's teams.
It just seems like something is going on behind the scenes. In the last two years I loved the chemistry of Hud's Cajuns and I believe that chemistry was the difference in a few games. For some reason it doesnt seem like this team has come together yet.
I sure hope the light comes on in the next 6 days.
Come on Cajuns! We arent giving up on you just show us some fire!
Just because this K State team is a member of the Big 12 conference doesn't automatically make them a good team. What I see is a bad K State team beating a bad UL team. This K State team is not as good as last year and is far from being a contender in the Big 12. UL is killing themselves and has a poor game plan. They look like they are just going through the motions. The defense is like Swiss cheese.
you cannot win scoring 3 points a half. Score some touchdowns and it will give the defense a needed lift. DoNot let go of the Rope
And if we come out and drive for a score we are back in this game
I don't know if he really thinks that they're playing all that well. He said they were battling their tails off (which I don't see.) He just seems really ____ed off at the poor effort on offense.
Honestly, as much as the defense is looking like swiss cheese, if the offense would be holding up their end of the bargain, we would have at least 3 TDs. I am much more disappointed in the offense than I am the defense.
