Finally the schedule is released, looks like a decent OOC schedule
I cant wait for basketball season
Random but we laughed at that McDonald's ad all last season. It was like they said "hey let's see how many words we can fit into this little box here."
Fans of McDonald's McRib sandwich no longer have to wait. The McRib is back at McDonald's.
??? You are easily impressed. 7 home non-conference games, 4 against non-Division1 (3 NAIA, 1 Division 3), 3 nondescript opponents (Houston ok, McNeese & Northwestern State). Road games are noteworthy with Arkansas, Baylor, Tech & Louisville, and 3 winnable rpi killers. I know it's tough to get quality home games, but it's beyond ridiculous to have more non-Division 1 opponents than D1. I know one game (Centenary) was a cost saving venture as the SWAC opponent wanted an obscenely higher price than the Gents. I'm still not pleased.
I think one of the non-D1 games you listed is an exhibition.
If Marlin doesn't make the NCAA I think its time to part ways with him.
I can agree with that statement, but the current contract makes it economically unfeasible to get rid of him until after next season (2014-2015). This season's schedule will probably not help them get an at large bid, despite the presence of Louisville, Baylor, Arkansas, Houston & Tech. Western Kentucky & South Alabama should be the only real competition for the conference title, so all this effort to make the team, and Payton, better had better work, because if they can't win the league this season, it will be very difficult to ever win it.
Just win baby Win! Marlin better because I am getting tired of the losing players and playing crappy schedules.
Georgia State will also be very good.
