Thread: UL's RB rotation filled with options

  1. Default UL's RB rotation filled with options

True freshman Elijah McGuire looked obviously tantalizing at times. Effrem Reed often seemed out of the picture, then would do something to pop back in. Montrel Carter, who missed most of last season following reconstructive knee surgery, appeared to have gained back most if not all of his speed. And former walk-on Torrey Pierce kept dropping reminders that he should not to be forgotten.

But heading into the Cajuns' second game of the season, Saturday's visit to Kansas State, the rotation merry-go-round seems to have stopped spinning.

Those rushing numbers are very telling. We need to run early and often at K State.

They're still caught up in their big 12 championship and heisman finalist of a year ago. I'm not gonna predict that we win, but I'll predict that they're asses are scared the entire game. Gonna be a good game like 2008.
