The Astros have five remaining day games on their 2013 schedule, and from a television standpoint that’s five games too many. Even though the Astros enjoyed a dramatic 6-5 win over the Twins on Wednesday afternoon, the game was viewed, according to the Nielsen Co., by an average audience representing 0.1 percent of the 2.2 million TV households in the 20-county Houston area – about 2,200 households. The Dynamo’s 2-0 loss later that day on CSN Houston was viewed by a comparable audience, also rating 0.1 on the Nielsen meters.
