Sophomore shortstop Blake Trahan was named the top prospect in the MINK League this summer, Perfect Game announced this weekend.

Blakes Grandparents sat with me in my 3rd base box most games last season, man that is some nice people! His parents as is he are from Kinder, where some of my relatives are from, nothing but great things said about this young man! He is a very hard worker, has that Kung Fu grip, is just county strong in heart, mind and body! Really down to earth young man, I wish the best to him as he has worked for what he has and will receive, watch this young man, he may be our next Lucroy!
