Unlike last year, we don't seem to have the judgement on the long high jump passes....butler and Rob just misjudged the distance....last year we come down with these sometimes with one hand,,,,,,,

Half of that is proper touch on the ball.

good try but as we say in Texarkana, "that dog just won't hunt"..the reason Broadway had more time and more success in the first half was because of 1 reason, 1)the Ark DE's (best in the SEC as a tandem) tried to blow around the UL tackles with their speed, well as our DE's were going by, the UL tackles had a handful of red jersey thus Broadway had time to get his passes off with decent accuracy....the adjustment made at halftime was to have the ARK DE's just 'bull rush' the UL tackles and collapse the pocket on top of Broadway....this adjustment worked perfectly as it did two things, 1) didn't allow Broadway to step into his throw, and 2) the bull rush causing the collapse of the pocket didn't allow Broadway to use his legs to break containment and make positive plays running the ball......by the way, I think you guys have a very good Sun Belt team and should win your conference...I hope you guys win every game the rest of the season, and yes, that goes for your game against Arkansas State....Good Luck, Louisiana !
