well, considering our D-line was being held about 3 of every 4 passing plays by the Louisiana O-line, maybe just maybe, getting away with a push in the side that was going to be a TD anyway, penalty or not, was justice....several times the announcers would remark how the Rajun Cajun O-line were just flatout holding jersies....but no big deal, you gotta do what you gotta do...the holding is why the ARK D-line went straight to the 'bull rush' in the second half, if you noticed the pocket would collapse almost immediately...that tactic was planned because the bull-rush negated the grabbing of the jersies by the Louisiana O-line...and it worked

EE stated "getting away with a push in the side that was going to be a TD anyway, penalty or not, was justice"

I ran that TD play in slow motion after the game and the Au coach was right, they got away with one. Both hands of the UA player was on Patt's name on the back of his jersey. The officials don't make decisions on justice they make decisions on rules. By the way, the infraction tool place on UA 30 yard line and the ball should have been placed on the 40. No guarantee of a TD. Probably no difference in outcome of the game.

That's what you get for listening to inbred Ozark homer announcers, Eddie.

This is not atypical of our defense over the years. Even with Bentley and Moten and White, we played a lot of zone defense. I feared this going into the game and I fear it going into the rest of them. Without a player who can put consistent pressure on the QB with a decent pass rush, we will continue to let mediocre, young and inexperienced QB's play well against us. Hopefully we can find a pass rush against KState as we can't afford to let another stand in QB look like an all conference player.

yeah, Tim Couch, that well known Razorback from years ago....seems like I remember him wearing the Blue jerseys we used to break out whenever we played Kentucky...what a used douche bag comment that they were ARK announcers....besides, if ULL doesn't have the stroke to play with the big boys, having announcers that don't meet your approval is just a fact of life, coon-arse

You made the initial douche bag comment... douche juice. Do you know what we want for the cool Arkansas fans out there? We want Arkansas to prove they are a top caliber program that simply beat us... by going out and doing well against the rest of their schedule. They (the cool Arkansas fans) want us to succeed the remainder of our year so that it validates that they beat a solid team to begin this year's campaign. Only a arse like you would sling this stupidity on our forum at this point.

You're a disgrace to the Arkansas fan base.

My agenda??? That's funny .... I just think making excuses about officiating when there were bad calls on both sides in a game where our lines were pretty much dominated is pointless

Your need to debate this is pointless. The guy that "made the excuse" played football for UL. The guy you're arguing with played football for UL and flew Blackhawks in our military. You like cork. You can go back and find a seat in the audience now.

All true Zephyr. Our D is all about containing and staying in assigned lanes. I'm hoping Willis eventually tosses in a wrinkle or two. We are notorious for allowing a decent QB to get comfortable. The psychological aspect of defeating a QB's pass and catch is to do whatever it takes to put him on his ___ a couple of times... even with the risk. We have to get in the KSU backfield early in the game... even taking the chance of giving up a big play.

We probably have 7 more contests where we can play a "conservative defense". But, if we ever want to get over the hump of an SBC championship... and this year will be very tough... we have to get way more creative in 4 of our remaining contests... defensively. I know we recruit defensive athletes on par or better than anyone else in the SBC. The outcome is on our staff.
