Catcher Carlos Corporan, who is on the seven-day concussion disabled list, has progressed enough to feel optimistic about coming off the DL next week. “I think I’ll begin throwing tomorrow,” said Corporan, who suffered a concussion when the Rangers’ Alex Rios tipped a ball back and off his forehead on Aug. 19. “They say I’m fine. I don’t have headaches anymore. I stopped having headaches two days ago.” Corporan rode a stationary bike and did some upper body exercises Thursday.
