You guys need to calm down. If we beat McNeese, are yall still freaking out? We were supposed to (although its not an excuse) lose to South Carolina, UCF and upcoming Tennessee. Troy is by far the class of the Sun Belt and that was evident against Oklahoma St. Ohio is a good team in which we were a blown call away from going to OT against. Other than the McNeese debacle (every team has bad games - ask Michigan), we are where we should be. Granted, a good team rises above expectations and plays beyond those, but we have just played 1 conference game!
We will beat UNT next week at home and with the win, could start a momentum swing in our favor. We have the talent and the field position, especially on kickoffs, was improved last week at UCF.
I just hope all you fairweather fans who have little faith and share the same characteristics as those fans we love to hate to the East don't jump back on the bandwagon once we start rolling in the Sun Belt in the few upcoming weeks.
And we will learn a lot about ourselves when we overcome adversity. Remember, the year we lost the tiebreaker to go to a bowl game a few years ago, we started the season 1-5. Conference games are the only games that matter. Mark my words, this week will change things. Anybody can beat anybody in the Sun Belt.
GEAUX CAJUNS!!! (a faithful TRUE fan)
