2012 SEASON IN REVIEW: The Mark Hudspeth era of Ragin' Cajun football continued to shine in 2012, as the team finished 9-4 overall, and at 6-2 in league play, it was just one win from capturing its first-ever Sun Belt Conference championship.

Louisiana one media market at a time, the home state market and the SBC will be the last to fall due to jealous followers.

What's really funny is that EVERYONE in the State of Louisiana knows who you are taking about when anyone talks about or refers to the University of Louisiana or UL. They just remain in denial and can't bring themselves to accept what is happening. If they didn't know, they wouldn't attempt to correct the person(s) refering to us as UL or Louisiana. They seem to feel better about themselves if they can remind us that we are officially the University of Louisiana @ Lafayette. Like we don't already know that.
    Geaux UL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are the revolution, and we are the ones that won't quit, the nay sayers will give up at some point when it becomes moot.

I can't wait until UL is nationally accepted. Out of region media will likely respect UL's wishes first. Then, after University of Louisiana is the more common title, people that take issue with the name will just seem silly. It's only a matter of time.

    You are 100% right.

Its just that some of the UL's select own need to learn how not to shoot the effort in the foot.
