    There is a lot of over-entitled folks under 30 around (see Occupy Wall Street). Baseball, after daddyball is a meritocracy. I think 90% of college players understand that. There is zero sympathy from college and pro players for "the coach didn't like me" excuses. Play well enough and any coach will love you.

    Life isn't fair. Baseball is illustrative of that everyday.

    I thought in this case baseball was VERY fair. Girourd was just plain better.

    In his heart of hearts Sam Carriere knows UL was fair. He also knows the talent that emerged in front of hum.

    The thing is, at the moment Sam Carriere is in the business of selling Sam Carriere


    And I have no problem with that. I hope he excels at UNO.
