I believe the UF alumni groups are called Gator Clubs and that name is registered.

So what!

The list is endless of schools with Bulldogs, some other schools alumni group cannot be allowed to hold UL hostage. Especially when they named their field the swamp after receiving a media guide from UL.

When Steve Spurrier was first hired in 1989 there were negotiations to play a game at some point. UL sent Florida a media guide while negotiating to play a game and "The Swamp" was already in use at Louisiana.

Before the actual game was played in 1993 Florida was using "the swamp" as well.

Can't argue with ya over mascots bra, a Flaming Pepper is quite unique...but he needs to look "angrier" & less "Fruit of the Loomish". More flames perhaps....
