Thread: Player Ranking

    Default Player Ranking

When a player is ranked on the Scout website, what does that mean # 39 or #102? For instance. is that 39 out of however many in the state of Louisiana or a region including Louisiana or nationally? Does anyone know?

That is his national rank at his position.

Well also figure that there are 2 or more at each position except QB and Center along with Athlete----so if being in the top 100 which just about all (2 are at 102 and 106 I think) are, we are looking pretty good!!!

Learning Boomerese is like a BOOMERang, it comes at you and just when you think you can catch it . . . it whacks you on the head and flies back to its source.

I understand(I've had multiple refresher courses), but it would take a dissertation to explain it. And that would take some time to type all that out.

There are more numbers at the positions where someone could play left side or right side, for example LT and RT. Therefore, the number of players being ranked in those positions are greater than at QB or Center because there aren't as many playing those positions.

A national ranking for OT, for example, within the top 100 is pretty darn good, given the high number of players in the country within the OT pool.
