Thread: Granier looking for fresh start at Louisiana

  1. UL Football Granier looking for fresh start at Louisiana

All Trey Granier wanted was an opportunity to showcase the talents that made him one of the nation's best prep linebackers coming out of Thibodaux High in 2012.

Granier was a part of LSU's highly ranked National Signing Day recruiting class in 2012, and he said he loved every second of his redshirt freshman season with the Tigers last year.

What I like the most is we are slowly starting to get articles around the state. It seems like we may are converting some of the fans in places that are purple

This is true. I spoke to some Thibodaux High football players this past weekend about Trey transferring. I didn't even have to say UL. They said, "yep, he is transferring to UL. And, UL is for real son!!". Of course I had somebody interpret that for me later. It means they like UL!!!

What's helping with the press is that we are getting more local guys to join the program, and local guys that made a name for themselves while in high school.
    By local I mean Louisiana.
