Unlike other so-called stars at Refineryville, he carries no baggage with him and is a top flight, mature young man who should provide leadership and leave a fine example for others to emulate. He is just the kind of young man that universities crave to have commit to them during the recruiting process. The situation of playing for UL may be attractive for him, but I would bet that by the time his eligibility is over, UL will be the bigger winner in the whole process, and many others with Mr. Granier's qualities will be more likely to cast their lots with the Ragin Cajuns!
Right on mayor - the Butler family is top notch - glad that Trey is finally coming here

I was talking to Butler and him and told him how fast this year will pass just like it did for
Butler when he got hurt--he agreed and I also told them that their other family member was faster than the 2 of them!!! That got an approval!!!

He told Butler that Granier's transfer year will pass by like nothing, similar to how Butler's year passed quickly when he was injured. He also told Butler that Elijah McGuire is faster than both Butler and Granier (all three are cousins), to which Butler agreed.

I was talking to WR James Butler, and told him that this year would fly by just like last year (when he was out with an injury). He agreed, and then I told him that Elijah McGuire was faster than Butler and his other cousin (Trey Granier). (I think) James Butler nodded his head in agreement.

I was in Boomer Emmersion when I attended U(S)L. Boomer means he talked to Granier and Butler Saturday. Both agreed the year Butler sat out with an injury went by very fast and the year Granier will sit out as a transfer will go equally fast. They also agreed that Elijah McGuire (their cousin) was faster than both of them.

    ThaFan I hoped this helped.
